Rules

By joining GazerCraft, you agree to conduct yourself in a mature and respectful manner and abide by the following rules:

Thou Shall Not Steal

• This includes but is not limited to: taking what does not belong to you, snooping around players' chests, taking another player's horse, harvesting plants without permission, killing another player's fenced in animals without permission, borrowing anything without permission, moving/removing blocks from another player’s property, and moving/taking blocks from public works (town halls, farms, storage, roads, etc.). 
• Please use common sense and be courteous – if you know you didn't put the block/chest/item there yourself, you have no right to take it. 
• Consequences depend on the severity of the action: 
• Minor: 2-day suspension 
• Major: Permanent ban 

Thou Shall Not Grief

• This includes but is not limited to: moving/removing blocks, knocking entities off walls, killing another players animals, taking another players harvestables, leading block destroying mobs to someone’s private build or a public build, building too close to others, building on/through public roads/builds, not repairing things you accidentally break, starting unwanted fires, lava flows, water flows, TNT blasts, etc. 
• Again, use common sense and be courteous. If you accidentally break something, apologize and fix it. 
• Consequences depend on the severity of the action: 
• Minor: 2-day suspension 
• Major: Permanent ban 

Thou Shall Be Appropriate and Respectful

• Excessive swearing, personal attacks, racial slurs, and hateful speech will not be tolerated and will result in a ban.Begging and whining are also frowned upon. 
• Treat others with respect. Try to resolve issues with the other player first before running to a staff member. 
• Consequences depend on the severity of the action: 
• Minor: 2-day chat mute 
• Major: 2-day suspension to possible ban 

Thou Shall Not Spam

• This includes but is not limited to: posting nonsense in chat, repeatedly posting the same thing over and over again, begging of any kind, excessive use of caps, etc. 
• Please act your age, not your shoe size. 
• Consequences depend on the severity of the action: 
• Minor: 2-day chat mute 
• Major: 2-day suspension to possible ban 

Thou Shall Obey All Rules and Read and Obey All Player Signs

• If you come by a sign that says "do not enter my house" then don't enter that player's house. Read player signs, especially those posted on property, and listen to them. When in doubt, ask first. 
• Please do not do anything on another player's property without consent. 
• Consequences depend on the severity of the action: 
• Minor: 2-day suspension 
• Major: Permanent ban 

Thou Shall Not Initiate PvP (fighting)

• PvP is not allowed, unless both parties verbally agree to PvP and understand the consequences of dying and losing their items. Staff members will not step in and punish anyone or reimburse items if users have knowingly agreed to player-vs-player fighting in game
• Consequences depend on the severity of the action: 
• Minor: 2-day suspension 
• Major: Permanent ban 

Thou Shall Not Use Outside Hacks/Cheats or Exploit Game Bugs

• This is a vanilla survival server and we'd like to keep it that way. If you notice a bug, glitch, or exploit, please alert a staff member. There are plenty of other servers who would be fine with you using x-rays or fly hacks, but not us. If this is a necessary part of your gameplay, this server is not for you. 
• Consequences depend on the severity of the action: 
• Minor: 2-day suspension 
• Major: Permanent ban 

***Thou Shall Not Build Ender-farms or Build in the End***

• This is more of a guideline than a rule. You can build in the End, but please realize that the End will be reset at the beginning of every month to give others a chance to fight the Ender Dragon. 
• The only consequence: 
• Loss of hours of hard work and ender farm permanently deleted.
